In the context of the EC day 2022 and given the sucessful implementation of river sprts activities within the EX.TOUR project, a rafting trip will be organised for the participants and the public.
The main aim of the rafting event is to promote the sport activities among the youth from both sides of the border and explore and promote the local attractions and landscapes in the city of Përmet. Moreover, the purpose of activity is to raise environmental awareness for the preservation and protection of the Vjosa River as the last wild river in Europe, in line with all national and international initiatives.
For this event, 5 rafts will be used which may accommodate up to 25-30 people. At least 5 of the rafts will be labelled “Youth Boat” and will be embarked by a young crew from schools, universities, local NGOs and more. All participants in the event can embark on the Vjosa’s River trip. Participants will be assisted by specialisedf professional staff during the trip.
If the number of participants will exceed the capacity of the available rafts, additional rafts will be available.
