As part of the cross-border Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria, we will celebrate this year’s eleventh European Cooperation Day on Friday, 16 September 2022.

On this occasion, we invite you to join us at the event, which this year, in addition to promoting the programme and the co-financed projects, is also aimed at young people and cooperation with them.

As part of the event, we will meet in the morning at dvorec Rakičan and go with a shared transport along the Castle Road to visit Kornberg Castle. In Austrian Styria, the project partners of the Castle Road project will share their experiences with us. This will be complemented by a tour of Kornberg Castle. We will also be accompanied at the event by a “cross-border” group of young people, students of Murska Sobota high school and BORG Bad Radkersburg. We will continue the event in the castle courtyard of dvorec Rakičan, where we will socialize while having a look at the results of the E-Carriage project and interactively preparing lunch. We will spice up the event with various cooperative games that will take place in the castle courtyard. We will conclude our gathering at the opening of the bird observatory of the BioDiTOUR project, which will take place at lake Soboško jezero in the Expano area. As part of the event, the Minister of the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Development and European Cohesion Policy, dr. Aleksander Jevšek, will join us.

The number of participants is limited, therefore, please register for the event. We are accepting applications until 13 September 2022 via the online form or until the places are filled.
