The event will be organized to facilitate the exchange of information between the beneficiaries involved in the cross-border projects financed mostly by the Joint Operation Programme Romania- Ukraine and to raise public awareness of cross-border cooperation. Also, it will increase the visibility of European projects carried out in the community among the general public, the involvement of civil society, local, county and regional public administration in the life of communities/ support actions on the occasion of the celebration of European Cooperation Day 2022.
This initiative aims to strengthen the visibility of territorial cooperation, promote its results and achievements and improve cultural understanding between European regions.
The participants expected to participate in our activities are representatives of the public administration, mayors of Maramures county and of the Zakarpattia and Ivano- Frankivsk regions.
The goal of the meeting is to raise awareness of the importance of cooperation between regions by presenting all projects implemented in the border area of Maramures – Ukraine that reduces differences between countries.
