As part of the cross-border Cooperation Programme Interreg Italy-Slovenia, we will celebrate this year’s European Cooperation Day on Wednesday, September 21st 2022.
On this occasion, we invite you to join us at the event “INTERREG COOPERATION BETWEEN ITALY AND SLOVENIA: DISCOVER EUROPEAN PROJECTS AND FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES,” which will be held in Trieste at the Savoia Excelsior Palace hotel.
The event will present the projects results from the 2014-2020 programming period and the new Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme, approved by the European Commission on August 3rd, 2022.
The event will be developed through thematic sessions that will involve people who have made and still make possible the cooperation between Italy and Slovenia through the implementation of high-level projects.
It will be possible to participate both in the main conference, as well as in side events such as the “Interreg Cooperation Fair,” where participants will get the opportunity to actually test what has been achieved by the projects during the 2014-2020 programming through direct confrontations with beneficiaries and practical product demonstrations and activities financed, such as small experiments, use of electric bikes and cars, stands, a virtual reality, promotional materials, dissemination videos and much more!
There will also be a Dialogue Area – a space dedicated to meeting and discussion between practitioners, potential partners and citizens-, a photo-video exhibition and an information space for young people interested in a cooperation experience through the IVY – Interreg Volunteer Youth initiative.
The event represents an opportunity to show to the citizens the contribution of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Program to the development of the territory, as well as an opportunity for possible future beneficiaries to meet and face the new challenges and opportunities of future cooperation.
Simultaneous interpretation from Italian to Slovenian and vice versa will be provided throughout the conferences.
Participation in the event is free of charge. For organizational reasons, online pre-registration is required to be made through this online form no later than Sunday, September 18th.
